USA TODAY Sports' Week 7 NFL picks

Week 7 of the NFL season begins Thursday with the resumption of the league's longest-running rivalry as the Green Bay Packers host the Chicago Bears (and, believe it or not, the Chicago offense under Brian Hoyer has recently been far more effective than the Pack's Aaron Rodgers-led unit).

Sunday will dawn with the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams playing at 9:30 a.m. ET in the first NFL game played in London's 107-year-old Twickenham Stadium, normally a rugby venue.

Elsewhere, the Atlanta Falcons will host the San Diego Chargers in a battle of offenses that have scored the most points in the league this season. The Minnesota Vikings will try to remain undefeated coming off their bye week, while the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins look to extend surprising four-game win streaks.

Finally, the slate ends with Houston Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler returning to Denver in what is unlikely to be a warm homecoming from the fans or his former Broncos teammates.
