Shaye Taubner paced the Cedarburg/Grafton gymnasts to third place at the Dec. 3 West Bend East Invitational.

Taubner came in fourth in the all-around competition with 33.4 points, finishing second in the vaulting with 9.0 points, second on the balance beam with 9.15 points, fourth in floor exercise at 8.55 points and 22nd on the uneven parallel bars with 6.7 points.

She helped the co-op team open its season with third place in the eight-team invitational with 128.55 points.

Paige Arnold finished eighth in all-around with 32.325 points, snaring sixth on the beam (8.6), ninth in floor exercise (8.15) 11th on the bars (7.425) and 13th in vaulting (8.15).

Mia Ketelhohn claimed eighth in floor (8.175), 10th on the beam (8.25) and 15th in vaulting (8.1).

Other top-16 finishes were from Lauren Rech on bars (14th with 7.225), Anja Luzney on bars (7.15) and Jaidyn Marshall in floor (11th with 8.125).
