Endorses Thompson in Mequon
I’ve been out of politics for almost three years. I have watched these past years and sensed that the 5th District can be better served, so it is an easy choice for me to support Abby Thompson’s candidacy, and ask you to consider her candidacy for the following reasons.
Abby Thompson is a smart woman. Running for Mequon’s 5th District aldermanic seat, Abby will most certainly be a great asset to the common c ouncil.
Abby’s demeanor is welcoming and inclusive, unruffled by the questions posed to her. She delivers thoughtful, forward-thinking solutions to Mequon’s current issues.
Abby is a problem-solver. In her profession, she brings forth conflict resolutions for some of the most influential people in the world. Her qualifications are unmatched.
Abby, her husband and their young family are the new face of Mequon, and the common council is beginning to reflect that change: younger members with school-aged children, alderwomen and men who can fully understand and represent the needs of their constituents.
Mequon’s demographics are noticeably changing as the millennials settle here to raise their families. The city provides safe neighborhoods, highly rated schools, much green space and low taxes that help to offer affordable living.
Abby’s mission is to protect these valuable resources and reflect the desires of those she represents.
Abby Thompson is honest and ethical, and she will be a refreshing and welcomed addition to Mequon’s 5th District and the common council.
Please vote for Abby Thompson as 5th District alderwoman Tuesday, April 4, at Christ Church, 13460 N. Port Washington Road.
