Ansay Development Corporation is breaking ground on its Matthaeus Farms subdivision with a ceremony at 10 a.m. April 25. Matthaeus Farms is a 33-lot residential subdivision off Highway LL and Harris Drive in Port Washington that focuses on energy efficiency and eco-friendliness.

Port Washington Mayor Thomas Mlada will attend, along with other local officials, and the ceremony will be open to the public.

Future residents can expect to receive lower energy bills thanks to energy-efficient technology. All homes include gas fireplaces, charging stations for electric cars, Nest thermostats, and the option to install solar panels on the roof. The subdivision also boasts access to the Ozaukee County Interurban Trail to further enhance its focus on healthy living.

“Our entire vision is one of sustainability,” said Ansay Development Corporation Operations Director Kate Ansay. “We are dedicated to helping construct cost-effective homes that are great for the environment and provide a sense of community.”

Those wishing to reserve a lot can contact Ansay Development Corporation’s property services manager, Yasmine Noori, at 262-376-3239.
