The Frank L. Weyenberg Library will host its fourth session of a scholarly lecture series, “Philosophers in their Historical Context," at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 11345 N. Cedarburg Road, Mequon.

Over the course of the past year, the lecture series has focused on examining the historical contexts in which thinkers like Aristotle, Anselm of Canterbury, Rene Descartes and Hannah Arendt were writing in relation to their main ideas.

November’s lecture will cover Hannah Arendt. The lecture series is recommended for adults and high school students. Each lecture will last about 60 minutes, with time for questions and answers after. The event is open to the public; no registration is required.
