·A bicycle valued at $464 was taken from an unlocked garage in the 12100 block of North River Glenn Lane sometime July 6 to 14.


·Two unlocked cars were entered and a Smith & Wesson loaded handgun valued at $400 along with a holster was taken from one in the 8500 block of West Popular Drive on July 7 or 8.

·A purse left in plain sight in a locked car in a driveway was taken from the 10800 block of North Oriole Lane between 2 and 8:20 a.m. July 9. A window was broken to gain entry.

·Five bottles of liquor, including tequila and champagne valued at more than $100, were taken from Walgreens, 11270 N. Port Washington Road, about 11 a.m. July 9. The suspect, a male, was seen on video walking into the store with a large shopping bag over his shoulder.

·Prescription medication, including 300 Alprazolam pills and 30 Vicodin pills along with more than $1,500, was taken from a car in a driveway in the 5200 block of West Hillcrest Drive on July 8 or 9. A window was broken to gain entry.

·A 30-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man of Milwaukee were cited for two counts of theft, five counts of prowling, criminal damage to property and ID theft and the woman also for possession of narcotic drugs, amphetamines, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and illegally obtained prescription medications and the man for speeding, failure to stop for a sign and driving with a suspended license after they entered numerous cars, most located south of Mequon Road and east of River Road early morning July 12. Some of the cars were in the following blocks: 9700 and 9900 North River Road, 9900 North Valley Hill Drive, 10200 North Range Line Road and 3400 West Burgundy Court. Stolen items were found in their car. The woman, after being taken into custody, said she was ill and treated at a hospital.

Drug possession

·A 34-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a revoked license in the 14300 block of I-43 at 8:16 p.m. July 14. K-9 Iron was at the scene and hit inside the car, where two pipes with marijuana residue were found.

·A 29-year-old Cedarburg man was cited for felony possession of marijuana with a prior arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and suspended registration because of unpaid parking tickets in the 1200 block of West Pioneer Road at 11:17 p.m. July 14. K-9 Iron was at the scene and hit inside the car, where 3.6 grams of marijuana, a grinder and pipe with residue and rolling papers were found.


·A 43-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for OWI-drugs and unsafe lane deviation after he crashed his car and ended up in a swamp near the 7200 block of West County Line Road at 1:16 a.m. July 8. The man said he had taken Ambien. His BAC was 0.00.


·A Mequon man was the victim of a fraud after sending a cashier's check for $28,250 to 'customs' after being told he won something July 11.

·A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for carrying a concealed weapon, suspended registration and failure to transfer the car's title in the 10400 block of North Port Washington Road at 5:53 p.m. July 13. The man said he just purchased the car and had to drive it in order to buy a cake for his wife's birthday at the Mequon Dairy Queen.
