Thiensville — The Thiensville Police Department is sponsoring their annual Bicycle Safety Fest Day from 9 a.m. to noon in the Thiensville Village Park, according to a news release May 25.

A skills course for bike riders, safety inspections, refreshments and door prizes (including bicycles) will be offered at the event. Kids will receive safe bike riding materials and they can also register for licenses.

Extreme Ski and Bike mechanics will be in attendance to provide the safety inspections. Dr. Theirl will provide helmet fitting, the release states.

Registration is June 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Thiensville Police Department, 250 Elm Street. Class sizes are limited to the first 40 students with a registration fee of $25.
