·A 29-year-old Cedarburg woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and two warrants after the car she was in ran out of gas in the 9900 block of West Mequon Road at 4:32 p.m. April 29. The woman said she was a recovering drug user and had track marks on her hands. In her purse were needles, a cooker with residue, a crack pipe, foil squares, tourniquets and other drug paraphernalia. The woman said she first used heroin about seven years ago and now it cost her about $50 a day. She then admitted she had 'shot up at 3 a.m.' She also said she started using crack cocaine every day about six months ago to achieve an 'upper' to combat her desire for heroin.
·A 22-year-old Chilton man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and expired registration in the 14300 block of I-43 at 12:50 a.m. April 30. The car smelled of marijuana and a pipe and grinder, both with residue, were in the car.
·A 27-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was cited for OWI, driving left of center and unsafe lane deviation after she was seen crossing the center line in the 10600 block of West County Line Road at 2:23 a.m. April 30. The woman failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.15.
·A 24-year-old Thiensville man was cited for OWI and unsafe lane deviation in the 11200 block of North Bobolink Lane at 2:27 a.m. April 30. When asked, he first said he had a 'couple' of rum and Cokes, then said it was three or four and finally four or five. His BAC was 0.17.
·A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI-drugs, with a prior conviction, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and suspended registration and a warrant in the 9600 block of I-43 at 4:24 p.m. May 2. The man, who said he had smoked marijuana earlier, had a pipe with residue and was taken for a blood draw.
·A 26-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was cited for OWI-drugs with the added having a passenger under 16, failure to have a license, failure to have insurance and unsafe lane deviation in the 10600 block of North Industrial Drive at 6:20 p.m. May 3. The woman, who was clad in underwear and shorts, said she'd snorted Xanax earlier. Her BAC was 0.00 and she was taken for a blood draw.
·Three 18-year-old men of Atwater, California, Mundelein, Illinois, and Round Lake Beach, Illinois, and three 19-year-old men of Phoenix, Union Grove and Milwaukee were cited for underage drinking in a dorm at Concordia University, 12800 N. Lake Shore Drive, at 1:06 a.m. April 28. Campus Safety called the Mequon Police Department after finding one of the men passed out in the dorm room The men, who said they were drinking spiced rum, had BACs ranging from 0.09 to 0.179.
·A 19-year-old Whitewater woman was cited for underage drinking after failing to signal while turning in the 11300 block of North Cedarburg Road at 8:30 p.m. April 29. The woman admitted having one glass of wine. Her BAC was 0.034.
·A 20-year-old Sussex woman was cited for underage drinking and a 21-year-old Mequon man, the driver, for expired registration and failure to have insurance in the 11100 block of North Range Road at 2:25 a.m. April 30. The woman's BAC was 0.11.
·A 46-year-old Thiensville man was warned for illegally discharging fireworks after residents reported him setting them off in the 500 block of Laurel Drive at 8:09 p.m. May 6. The remaining fireworks were destroyed.
·A 42-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for vandalism at a gas station in the 200 block of South Main Street at 11:34 a.m. May 7. The man was filling a company truck with diesel fuel and began to drive away with the hose still in the truck, causing the fuel to spray on a customer. The clerk came outside telling the man to wait but he drove off. The company owner was contacted and the owner and the driver returned.
