·The theft of about 40 pallets valued at $120 was caught on surveillance video at Mequon Ace Hardware, 11001 N. Port Washington Road, at 8:12 p.m. April 21 and reported April 23.
·Two Milwaukee men, 25 and 27, and a 20-year-old Brookfield woman, were cited for shoplifting/party to the crime and possession of drug paraphernalia and the 27-year-old also for driving a stolen car after they returned or attempted to return stolen items at Walgreens, 11270 N. Port Washington Road, at 8:45 p.m. April 25. They were found with various drug paraphernalia, including a pipe and bong with marijuana residue and syringes, tourniquets and cookers, all heroin related paraphernalia.
·A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and given a 10-day notice for expired registration in the 1300 block of West Mequon Road at 2:04 a.m. April 22.
·A 19-year-old Bayside man was cited for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance , possession of drug paraphernalia and suspended registration in the 11300 block of North Port Washington Road at 1:52 a.m. April 23.
·Two men, 19 and 23, and a 19-year-old woman, all of Glendale, were cited for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, trespassing and carrying a concealed weapon and the 19-year-old man also for open intoxicants after a witness reported them on private property in the 10000 block of North Cedarburg Road at 4:38 p.m. April 23.
·A 20-year-old Chandler, Arizona, man was cited for violation of absolute sobriety, underage drinking, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding 62 mph in a 40 mph zone at West Mequon and River roads at 11:30 p.m. April 22.
·A 57-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, driving with a revoked license, possession of a controlled substance and following too closely after she rear-ended a car, causing an accident in the 11000 block of North Cedarburg Road at 4:50 p.m. April 27.
·Two 17-year-old girls, of Brown Deer and Milwaukee, were cited for vandalism and theft at Jimmy Johns, 11525 N. Port Washington Road, at 3:20 p.m. April 22. The girls, employees, had vandalized a storage room, including dumping cooking oil.
·A resident, a Mary Kay salesperson, reported receiving a check for $1,650.65 for an order of $225.50 and the buyer, in California, demanded she send back the overpayment April 25. The resident realized this was a scam and no money was sent.
