·A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl, an employee, was cited for theft at Newcastle Place, 12600 N. Port Washington Place, at 5:10 p.m. Jan. 20. She took $40 from another employee's purse left in the employee's locker room. The girl, at first, denied the theft but then admitted taking the money because the other female had stolen her shoes. The girl hid the money in a trash can in a rest room. Another locker room theft of more than $100 cash happened about two weeks before.
·Two letters put in a resident's mail box for pickup were taken from the 9100 block of West Concord Drive Jan. 18 and reported Jan. 20. The resident said the letters contained checks for $100 made out to individuals and had been forged and cashed at a bank Jan. 20.
·A 50-year-old Port Washington man was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs causing injury and a probation violation after running a red light, causing an accident at North Port Washington Road and West Venture Court at 7:38 p.m. Jan. 21. The man said he had a green light and denied drinking, saying he had just been at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and had been 'clean for 90 days.' The man, who had Suboxone and Ambien, was taken for a blood draw. The other driver was treated for injury to an ankle and foot.
·A car was reported 'fully engulfed in flames' at the BP Station, 11155 N. Wauwatosa Road, at 4:56 a.m. Jan 22. No injuries were reported.
