Theft

·A 2003 Jaguar was taken when left for just minutes with engine running in a driveway in the 11800 block of North Bridgewater Drive at 7:07 p.m. Dec. 31. The owner saw the car drive away and called police. It was recovered in a snow bank with some damage in the 6300 block of West Congress Avenue, Milwaukee, at 1:35 a.m. Jan. 1.

Drug possession

·A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a warrant after he was stopped for speeding 54 mph in a 45 mph zone in the 11100 block of North Buntrock Road at 11:47 a.m. Dec. 31. The car smelled of the drug and a baggie with 2.4 grams of marijuana and a pipe were found under the front seat.

·A 17-year-old Elm Grove boy and an 18-year-old Menomonee Falls man were arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as they sat in a car in the 800 block of West Zedler Lane at 9:37 p.m. Dec. 31. They had a pipe and 0.2 grams of marijuana.

·A 28-year-old town of Fredonia man was arrested for possession of medication without a prescription, disorderly conduct and bail jumping in the 10900 block of North Port Washington Road at 2:31 p.m. Jan. 2. Police went to that location after a relative called them, saying the man had called or text saying he was going to be kidnapped if that relative didn't give him $70.

·A 16-year-old Manitowoc girl was arrested for possession of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and driving while suspended in the 12000 block of North Port Washington Road at 12:48 a.m. Jan. 7. In the girl's purse was a small coin purse with the words 'Weed money' printed on it. Also in that purse was 1 gram of heroin, 0.2 grams of marijuana and two pipes.

Drunken driving

·A 25-year-old Cedarburg man was arrested for drunken driving, failure to have insurance and driving left of center after he crossed lanes of traffic ending up in a wooded area in the 14300 block of North Wauwatosa Road at 3:15 a.m. Jan. 3. His BAC was 0.11.

·A 48-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving causing injury, a hit-and-run accident, open intoxicants and refusal to take a breath test after he rear-ended a car stopped for a red light and drove away at West Mequon and North Range Line roads at 3:26 p.m. Jan. 7. An open bottle of vodka was in the car.

·A 17-year-old Thiensville girl was arrested for violation of absolute sobriety and underage drinking and her passenger, an 18-year-old Thiensville woman, for possession of marijuana at the corner of West and North Industrial Drives at 5:54 p.m. Jan. 7. The driver's BAC was 0.09.

Vandalism

·Human feces was found spread on a wall along with toilet paper in a women's bathroom stall at North Shore Cinema, 11700 N. Port Washington Road, at midnight Jan. 5.

Other

·A 41-year-old Mequon woman was arrested for battery to an elderly person/domestic violence related, battery to a police officer, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after she attacked a relative the evening of Dec. 31. When police arrived, she refused to follow instructions and then attacked an officer, causing pain. Marijuana and a grinder with residue were found in the home.

·A 20-year-old Mequon woman was cited for disorderly conduct after she wrote profane and derogatory comments regarding women on a car at Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road, at 11:41 a.m. Jan. 5.

THIENSVILLE

·A 28-year-old Mequon man was arrested Jan. 8 for theft after taking a $20 bill left on a counter at a business in the 300 block of North Main Street on Dec. 19. The theft was caught on surveillance video and the man identified. Then on Jan. 8, when he returned to the business to use an ATM machine, an employee identified him and called police.

·An 18-year-old Mequon man was warned after a resident reported the man had been harassing a juvenile via Facebook on Jan. 10. The man was told he would be criminally charged if the harassment continued.
