Southeastern Wisconsin residents will have an opportunity to “Explore Remodeling’s Finest” at the 18th annual Milwaukee NARI Tour of Remodeled Homes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21.
The event will allow attendees to view 16 recently completed remodeling and home improvement projects from Milwaukee NARI contractors.
The Tour of Remodeled Homes will feature three renovation projects in the North Shore: a kitchen, bathroom, dining room and living room remodel at 7815 N. Boyd Way, Fox Point, a kitchen and mudroom remodel at 214 E. Beechwood Ct., Mequon, and a whole home remodel at 4908 N. Woodburn St., Whitefish Bay.
An added attraction for the 2017 Tour of Remodeled Homes is an opportunity to win one of two prize packages. Valued at more than $1,900, Able Kitchen & Bath Showroom and Kohler Co. are offering a Kohler stainless single lever kitchen faucet with pull-down spray, single bowl cast iron kitchen apron sink, stainless steel touchless foaming soap dispenser, and a charcoal wine glass drying rack. From Velux, a Sun Tunnel skylight, including delivery and installation, is available. Bringing natural light into dark and isolated spaces through a specially designed tunnel that passes from roof to ceiling, the sun tunnel’s ceiling diffuser blends unnoticed into the ceiling, spreading a soft light throughout the room.
Admission for the Tour of Remodeled Homes is $15 in advance, and $20 at the door of the projects, with proceeds benefiting the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation supporting cancer research. Through Friday, May 19, advance tickets can be purchased between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Milwaukee NARI office, 11815 W. Dearbourn Ave., Wauwatosa, or online at www.MilwaukeeNARI.org.
An addition to this year’s Tour is a special benefit to raise money for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation – an exclusive preview of the NARI Lombardi Cancer House from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 19. This fundraising event will be at the project at 6030 Doyle St. in Greendale. In addition to the showing of the remodeled home, the soiree will feature hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and an opportunity to meet former Green Bay Packer and Lombardi Walk chairman, Santana Dotson. Limited tickets to this event are $150 each, which includes admission to the Tour of Remodeled Homes on May 20-21.
