A 25-year-old Cedarburg man and a 29-year-old Mequon woman were cited for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia and the man also for a warrant and both warned for parking in an “off-limit” lot at MATC, 5555 W. Highland Road, at 8:47 p.m. July 26. The man told police he had a knife in the car and as he picked it up drug paraphernalia was seen, including burnt tin foil. Other drug paraphernalia and 0.3 grams of crack cocaine were found in the car during a consent search.
A 31-year-old Belgium man was cited for a second OWI-drug related, possession of marijuana and driving without a valid license after he was reported acting “confused” at Mobil Gas, 11210 N. Port Washington Road, at 4 p.m. July 31. K-9 Iron hit inside the car where 0.5 grams of marijuana was found. The man was taken for a blood draw.
A 47-year-old Thiensville man was cited for a second possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to have insurance and violation of a traffic sign in the 7600 block of West Freistadt Road at 11:36 p.m. July 31. K-9 Iron indicated inside the car and on the man where 3 grams of marijuana was found in a baggie in his pocket. Also found was a pipe with residue.
A 23-year-old Brookfield man was arrested for OWI after he was found sleeping in his running car on North Granville Road at West Mequon Road at 1:17 a.m. July 30. He failed field sobriety tests and his blood alcohol content was 0.13.
A residence was entered through an unlocked door and a purse was taken in the 10900 block of North Wyngate Trace July 29 or 30.
