BAYSIDE

1A man was cited for OWI-drugs and a probation violation after “two citizens” found him unresponsive in his car and attempted to revive him at East Brown Deer and North Seneca roads at 9:30 a.m. May 1. He was given Narcan and taken to a hospital for treatment and a blood draw.

2A man was cited for OWI-drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to stop at a sign after a 911 call reporting an erratic driver who was now in the drive-thru at McDonald’s, 8739 N. Port Washington Road, at 3:52 p.m. May 3. The man had a pipe and baggie, both with marijuana residue. He was unable to complete field sobriety tests and was taken for a blood draw.

3A man was cited for OWI and open intoxicants after he was stopped for unsafe lane deviation while speeding 48 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 8900 block of North Port Washington Road at 2:37 a.m. May 6. His male passenger was cited for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol. The driver’s BAC was 0.19 and the passenger’s was 0.13.

4A woman was cited for OWI after she was stopped for making an illegal U-turn in the 700 block of West Brown Deer Road at 4 a.m. May 7. The woman failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.09.

5A woman was cited for OWI after she was stopped for weaving in traffic in the 9000 block of North Port Washington Road at 12:43 a.m. May 12. She failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.20.

BROWN DEER

6The following incidents were reported at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road: A male was seen taking a bottle of vodka May 5; A 43-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting May 5; A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for taking hygiene and laundry products and was also cited for resisting arrest and a warrant May 6; Two men took “numerous items” May 8.

7A resident called police May 5 saying she lent her car to a female “she didn’t know” to test drive and the car had not been returned in the 7900 block of North Sherman Boulevard on May 4. The car was found and a woman arrested after Milwaukee police were called to a disturbance in the 3200 block of North Sherman Boulevard on May 11. The arrested woman said she purchased the car.

8A 40-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for OWI in the 9000 block of North Deerbrook Trail at 1:20 a.m. May 6. His BAC was 0.12.

9A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his second OWI and a warrant after he was stopped for speeding 57 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 3500 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2:22 a.m. May 6. His BAC was 0.13

A 21-year-old Milwaukee man, in possession of a handgun, was taken into custody after pushing a female at 11:57 p.m. May 6. Charges of armed robbery, endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, stalking and disorderly conduct while armed have been referred to the district attorney.

10A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl was cited for disorderly conduct and a 23-year-old Milwaukee man for a warrant after a report of possible underage drinking in the 8900 block of North Kildeer Court at 7:27 a.m. May 7.

11A 29-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for disorderly conduct after residents reported he was in the apartment lobby with a machete and “buzzing” them, attempting to gain entry in the 8200 block of North 42nd Street at 10 a.m. May 7. The intoxicated man, a resident who was locked out, was cited and the machete confiscated.

12Two unlocked cars were entered and change and a garage door opener taken from one in the 9400 block of Woods Circle and a wallet taken from one in the 6100 block of West Donges Lane on May 7 or 8.

13Three cars were entered and a flashlight taken from one in the 5800 block of West Ester Place on May 8 or 9.

14Three cars were entered but nothing taken, two in the 8000 block of North Greenview Court and one in the 5300 block of West Donna Drive on May 8 or 9.

15A 2013 Mitsubishi and a 2008 Hyundai were taken from a driveway in the 8000 block of North 45th Street between midnight and 6:30 a.m. May 10.

16Two unlocked cars were entered and a stereo faceplate and unusable car key taken from one and a GPS from one in the 7600 block of North 51st Street on May 10 or 11.

17Cars parked in two driveways were rummaged through but nothing taken in the 9500 block of North Carlotta Lane and a car parked in a locked garage was entered but nothing taken in the 9400 block of Elm Court May 11. One resident had surveillance video of a man running from that garage and getting into a nearby car.

18A 2000 Mercedes M320 was taken after it was left running in a driveway in the 9300 block of North 49th Street the morning of May 11.

FOX POINT

19A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI-drugs, driving with both a suspended license and suspended registration and warned for failure to have insurance in the 7400 block of North Lake Drive at 12:44 a.m. May 4. The man admitted knowing about the suspensions and not having insurance. There was strong odor of marijuana in the car and the man admitted smoking “a blunt” a few hours before. His BAC was 0.00 and he was taken for a blood draw.

20A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of marijuana, driving without a valid license and, along with a 21-year-old Milwaukee man, a passenger, for failure to wear safety belts after he was stopped for having no plates in the 8600 block of North Port Washington Road at 8:10 p.m. May 5. The driver, who said he just purchased the car, admitted he didn’t have a valid license. There was a strong marijuana odor in the car but none was found there. However, 0.5 grams was found in the pocket of the man’s pants. He told police, the pants “weren’t his.”

21A wicker basket holding 20 bottles of various brands of beer valued at $45 was taken from an unlocked car in the 6400 block of North Lake Drive between midnight and 8 a.m. May 6. The resident said she left the car unlocked by accident and other items in the car were not taken.

22A man was seen fleeing with a shopping basket filled with items at CVS Pharmacy, 8661 N. Port Washington Road, at 4:43 p.m. May 8. He fled in a car without plates.

A resident reported fraudulent charges of more than $2,300 on her debit card at two Walmarts and a Target store in Valley Stream, New York, on May 10. The resident said she still had that card and notified her bank.

GLENDALE

23Police responded to an alarm and found a front window broken at Solly’s Grill, 4629 N. Port Washington Road, at 3 a.m. May 1. Items described as “equipment” valued at more than $200 were taken.

24A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of 4 grams of marijuana after he was stopped for driving a car without plates in the 2400 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 9:47 p.m. May 3. As he got out of the car, he dropped a bag and inside was the marijuana.

25An 18-year-old Glendale man was referred to the district attorney on allegations of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after an anonymous report of someone selling drugs in a men’s bathroom at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 1:30 p.m. May 5. The student was found with 14 capsules holding marijuana oil.

26A man was caught on video cutting the sensors off of three bottles of fragrance valued at $260 and walking out of Ulta, 5654 N. Bayshore Drive, at 3 p.m. May 5.

27Three antique guns were reported taken from the 6900 block of North Sidney Place on May 5. The last time the owner saw them was in February and he reported that workers had been in the apartment twice since then.

28A car stereo valued at $160 was taken from a car at Aurora Health Care, 3003 W. Good Hope Road, during the day May 5.

29Police responded to an alarm and found a door with broken glass and entry gained at a business in the 1900 block of West Florist Avenue, about 3:15 a.m. May 6. A cash drawer/register was taken.

30Two Milwaukee boys, 15 and 17, were cited, the older boy for driving without a valid license and the younger for resisting arrest and possession of a “dangerous weapon,” a gun, after police attempted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 2:12 p.m. May 6. The boys fled the car but were located.

31A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for being a felon in possession of a firearm and a warrant for a parole violation after he was stopped for driving a car with suspended registration in the 5400 block of North Port Washington Road at 10:15 p.m. May 6. His passenger, a 27-year-old Milwaukee woman, was cited for possession of marijuana. The man had a holster on his belt and the gun was found in the car.

32The following shoplifting incidents were reported at Victoria’s Secret, 5695 N. Centerpark Way: A 29-year-old Milwaukee woman, who was also cited for obstruction after giving a false name, concealed items that she dropped as she fled at 3 p.m. May 6; An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited after she and another female, who fled, walked out of the store with “armloads” of clothing and purses valued at $2,297 at 2:44 p.m. May 7; Two females were reported grabbing armfuls of Pink brand clothing valued at $1,160 and fleeing at 3:12 p.m. May 9.

A resident reported that she was notified that her credit card had been used twice at a Milwaukee Walgreens charging $4,500 on May 9. The card was cancelled.

33Two men were seen taking two phones valued at $1,600 from a display and fleeing Verizon, 5790 N. Port Washington Road, at 2:27 .m May 9.

34A 15-year-old girl and a 17-year boy, of Glendale, were cited for shoplifting at Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 3:30 p.m. May 9. The boy took Nikes and jeans valued at $114 and the girl a $50 jacket. Both entered a fitting room with items and exited after concealing the items in their clothing or backpack.

35A 69-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting shampoo and meat valued at $131 at Pick and Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 10 a.m. May 10.

RIVER HILLS

36A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for her second OWI after she was stopped for unsafe lane deviation in the 2300 block of West Brown Deer Road at 12:04 a.m. May 10. Her BAC was 0.19.

SHOREWOOD

37Residents reported that “Black Lives Matter” signs were taken from yards in the 4100 block of North Ardmore Avenue in the last five months and reported April 27, and blue paint was found on these signs in the 2600 block of East Olive Street and the 4100 block of North Newhall Street on May 8 or 9.

A resident told police she met a man on an online dating site who told her he received a “large amount of gold in Syria” and was going to ship it to her and she needed to pay a shipping fee of $1,800 May 4. She was advised this was a scam and no money was sent.

38Coin mechanisms on washers and dryers were damaged but no money taken at two locations -- the 1700 block of East Newton Avenue with damage of $1,000 on May 5 and the 1800 block of East Jarvis Street on May 11.

A 46-year-old Shorewood woman was cited for resisting/obstruction after she refused to cooperate with officers who responded to a report of “family trouble” at 9:50 p.m. May 5. The next day, the same woman was cited for disorderly conduct listed as domestic violence related after getting into a fight with a man at 5:22 p.m. May 6.

A 50-year-old Shorewood man was cited for battery/domestic violence related after he slapped an older female relative in the face and twisted her arm at 3:10 p.m. May 5.

39Two Milwaukee males, 12 and 19, were cited for shoplifting about $100 of electronics and the boy also for obstruction after giving a false name at Walgreens, 4035 N. Oakland Ave., at 11 a.m. May 6.

40A witness reported seeing four males getting out of a minivan and attempting to open car doors in the 4100 block of North Downer Avenue at 4:50 a.m. May 7.

41A car was found with damage to the door frame in an attempted entry in the 1900 block of East Capitol Drive at 7:28 a.m. May 7.

42An unlocked car was entered but nothing reported taken in the 4200 block of North Murray Avenue early morning May 7.

43Two cars were entered with a Garmin GPS valued at $100 taken from one in the 4100 block of North Woodburn Street on May 8 or 9.

44A package was taken from the 1700 block of East Beverly Road during the day May 9.

WHITEFISH BAY

45An unlocked car was entered and the car’s registration and about $3 taken in the 5900 block of North Kent Avenue sometime May 5 to 7.

46A man is in custody for attempted robbery of a financial institution after he attempted to rob Associated Bank, 430 E. Silver Spring Drive, at 11:40 a.m. May 8. He entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money. No money was given and the man left but was later arrested.

47An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for battery to a police officer, resisting/obstructing, loitering and prowling in the 700 block of East Lexington Boulevard about 1 p.m. May 10. A short time before, a resident called police reporting the woman taking packages from at least two homes in the 5100 block of North Berkeley Boulevard. She drove away, he followed and confronted her. She fled again but was located and taken into custody where she became “combative” at the police department.

48Two residents reported packages taken, one with $55 of clothes, and one with a $10 item in the 5100 block of North Berkeley Boulevard between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. May 10.

49A 19-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 500 block of East Silver Spring Drive at 10:20 p.m. May 10. The woman had a pipe and grinder, both with marijuana residue.

50Police responded to a report of an open front door and two dogs outside in the 4700 block of North Elkhart Avenue at 2:48 p.m. May 11. After checking, it was determined the dogs had opened the front door.

51A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of 6.4 grams of marijuana after he was stopped for speeding in the 4700 block of North Lake Drive at 12:24 a.m. May 12.

52A forced entry through a back door was reported at a home in the 5500 block of North Bay Ridge Avenue between 6 and 9:05 p.m. May 12.

A 38-year-old Whitefish Bay man was cited for “suffocation/strangulation” domestic violence related after a report of a woman kicking at a door at 2:54 a.m. May 13. She told police the man had strangled her and she was attempting to make him open the door so they could talk about it.
