1Two unlocked cars in a driveway were entered and about $40 taken from one in the 400 block of Greystone Drive on May 3 or 4. Witnesses reported seeing a car with males inside driving in the area. The case is under investigation.
2A 25-year-old Milwaukee man has been referred to the district attorney for possession of stolen property after stolen debit and credit cards were found in his car and he was cited for illegal use of a learner’s permit after he was stopped for driving without lights, with four passengers in the car, at Western Road and Greystone Drive at 4:22 a.m. May 4. No one in the car had a valid driver’s license and the males had someone pick them up and the car was towed.
3A 28-year-old Port Washington woman was cited for OWI, refusal to take a breath test and speeding 48 mph in a 25 mph zone on Washington Street at Ninth Avenue at 2:09 a.m. May 5. She denied drinking but when told there was an odor of alcohol in the car said she had one drink “hours ago.” She failed field sobriety tests and had a preliminary BAC of 0.142.
4A 57-year-old Grafton woman was cited for OWI after a 911 call of an erratic driver on Washington Street at 17th Avenue at 3:46 p.m. May 7. The woman could not complete field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.24.
5A 63-year-old Port Washington man was cited on two counts of trespassing in the 700 block of Sixth Avenue on May 8. He was first warned when found on the property at 11:25 a.m. May 7. He returned and was then cited on two counts of trespassing and resisting/obstruction at 7:24 p.m. May 8. At that time, he struggled with officers.
6A 41-year-old Cedarburg man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after a 911 call reporting a man slumped over/passed out in his car in the 1600 block of Port Washington Road at 9:46 p.m. May 8. When police arrived, there was no one in the car but there was a grinder and a glass pipe, both with marijuana residue, in the car. The man was inside a store where he worked and cited.
