1More than $300 cash and jerseys were taken from the 12000 block of North Lake Shore Drive sometime April 1 to 3 and reported April 14. There was no sign of forced entry but there was evidence that whoever entered the home drank soda and beer while they were there.
2Three 17-year-old Mequon boys were cited for theft after taking a 12-pack of Orange Monster drink from a delivery man who was filling up a vending machine at Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road, at 8:32 a.m. April 20.
3A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for his second OWI and driving with a revoked license/OWI related, after he was seen driving erratically in the 7900 block of West Mequon Road at 2:31 a.m. April 18. He was taken for a blood draw.
4A 39-year-old Mequon man was cited for his third OWI and refusal to take a breath test after he was involved in a two-car accident at North Port Washington and County Line roads at 10:27 p.m. April 20. The man also refused to take field sobriety tests. A warrant was issued and he was taken for a blood draw.
5A 15-year-old Brown Deer girl was cited for disorderly conduct/making a bomb threat after posting a threat on a Snapchat screen saying “I am thinking about bombing Homestead High School,” 5000 W. Mequon Road, at 9 a.m. April 15 and reported to police April 17. The girl admitted what she did was wrong.
6A 51-year-old Mequon man was cited for disorderly conduct after a witness reported a “highly intoxicated” man in a ditch in the 500 block of West Mequon Road at 8:44 a.m. April 19. The man was found stumbling in traffic and then struggled with officers, telling them to “(Expletive) off.”
A resident reported being the victim of a scam after receiving a call saying her granddaughter was in an accident and now in legal trouble and needed money April 19. The resident was told to purchase $7,500 of gift cards, which she did at Home Depot and Walmart, and then gave the numbers to the caller.
