1A resident reported $100 was taken from a purse in the 600 block of Wauwatosa Road April 8.
A resident reported that her personal files, including her social security number, had been “hacked” at her place of employment April 13. Another employee reported the same incident March 31.
2Police responded to a burglar alarm and found a window smashed at Dairy Queen, 100 Washington Ave., at 3 a.m. April 17. Entry was gained but nothing reported taken.
3An 18-year-old Cedarburg man was cited for disorderly conduct after a report of a fight with a male relative in the 6700 block of Center Street at 2:45 p.m. April 17. No injuries were reported.
4A 59-year-old Grafton woman was cited for shoplifting after she was seen on surveillance video putting a package of “Night Serum” in her purse at Shopko, 1771 Wisconsin Ave., at 7:41 p.m. April 14. She was stopped as she left the store.
5A 41-year-old Grafton man was cited for “purse snatching,” reckless driving causing bodily injury and disorderly conduct after taking a woman’s purse as both sat at the bar at Redhead’s, 1412 Wisconsin Ave., at 2:22 a.m. April 16. The man grabbed the purse as the woman stepped away, walked out and got into his car. The woman followed him and reached inside the passenger window attempting to get her purse. He just laughed and drove away, causing injury to her arm. In her Coach purse valued at $200 was her phone that was traced to the 1600 block of 7th Avenue, where the purse was found in a dumpster and the man inside his residence.
