1A 39-year-old Saukville man has been referred to the DA for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was stopped for speeding 48 mph in a 35 mph zone on Pioneer Road at McKinley Boulevard at 11:38 p.m. April 7. K-9 Iron hit inside the car, where about 1 gram of marijuana along with a grinder with residue were found in the man’s backpack.
2A 36-year-old Milwaukee man has been referred to the DA for possession of 4.9 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 300 block of Washington Avenue at 1:15 a.m. April 10. Police found the man’s car parked in a private lot and could see what appeared to be marijuana in the car. A short time later, he and another man walked out of the building where they had been working. The man admitted he had the 4.9 grams of marijuana along with two vaporizers and a blunt for medical reasons.
A resident reported fraudulent use of her debit card at a number of locations, including one local food store charging more than $500 on April 10. All charges were cancelled and there was no financial loss to the resident.
3A woman was seen on surveillance video taking five bottles of liquor valued at $154, including Grey Goose Vodka and Remy Martin Cognac, at Pick ‘n Save, 301 Falls Road, at 3:06 p.m. March 25 and reported April 10. On that date, an employee taking inventory discovered the liquor missing, screened the video and the shoplifting was revealed.
4A 51-year-old Grafton man was cited for disorderly conduct and a probation violation (he was on a no-drink order) after a call reported a man walking a dog falling down in the 1500 block of Washington Street at 7:10 p.m. April 7. The man, who smelled of alcohol, but denied drinking, later admitted having “a couple.” He told police he was carrying live fish he just purchased and the officer took the man home, put the fish in the fish tank, made sure the dog would be taken care of, and then took the man, who had a BAC of 0.24, into custody.
5A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct after a verbal argument with another employee turned physical at a business in the 1200 block of Dakota Drive at 4 a.m. April 8. The man threatened that employee and then pushed a supervisor.
