1A 19-year-old Cedarburg man was cited for disorderly conduct after he drove by police officers and yelled out the window “(Expletive) you, cop” in the 600 block of Washington Avenue at 6:40 p.m. Feb. 15. Police identified the man and found him in the area. When they approached him, he said, “Go (expletive) yourself.”
2Four burglaries and one attempted burglary were reported at businesses in the 500 and 600 blocks of Washington Avenue after 5 p.m. Feb. 18 and early morning Feb. 19: A restaurant reported about $20 taken along with items valued at more than $250, including chef knives; A cookware shop reported more than $800 taken along with store bags; A garden store reported about $830 taken; A tavern reported a door jam was found with about $75 damage but entry not gained and, in a possibly related incident, another business reported a door was damaged but entry not gained between 8 and 9 a.m. Feb. 18.
3An unknown male is a suspect in the shoplifting of three Dewalt power tools with a value of $687 at Home Depot, 1350 N. Port Washington Road, at 5 p.m. Feb. 2 and reported Feb. 13. The male was seen on surveillance video carrying the tools to the lumber section in the rear of the store and then opening the overhead door and walking out.
4A 25-year-old Cedarburg woman was cited for OWI, no proof of insurance and speeding 36 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 500 block of Falls Road at 2:18 a.m. Feb. 18. There was a strong odor of alcohol on the woman and in the car. Her BAC was 0.14
5A 24-year-old Saukville man was cited for OWI after he was stopped for a defective head light and weaving in traffic at Washington Street and 15th Avenue at 3:13 a.m. Feb. 19. When asked if he’d been drinking, the man said he had two beers. He failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.14.
