1A 33-year-old Fredonia man was cited for his fifth OWI with the added having a passenger younger than 16, speeding 42 mph in a 25 mph zone and was warned for expired registration at Western Road at Cider Mill Court at 4:57 p.m. Feb. 3. The man and car smelled of alcohol. He failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.11. The child was turned over to her mother.
Charges have been referred to the district attorney after police were called when a 48-year-old Cedarburg woman was being loud and aggressive with two relatives at 11:32 p.m. Feb. 6.
2A 53-year-old Poynette man was cited for his fifth OWI, possession of open intoxicants and failure to install the ignition interlock device in the 1100 block of North Port Washington Road at 7:39 p.m. Feb. 4. Police were alerted by a witness reporting a possibly intoxicated driver just leaving a gas station. The man failed field sobriety tests and had a preliminary BAC of 0.225. A warrant was issued and he was taken for a blood draw.
3A man reported that his wallet and contents, including credit cards and a Social Security card, was taken when left in a fitting room at Kohl’s, 1050 N. Port Washington Road, on Feb. 3 and reported Feb. 6. The man cancelled the cards and no charges were made.
4A 24-year-old Mequon woman was cited for OWI, speeding 40 mph in a 30 mph zone and warned for no proof of insurance after she was seen speeding and weaving in traffic on Columbia Road at Pine Ridge Court at 12:38 a.m. Feb. 7. She failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.17.
