1At 6:30 p.m. Jan. 30, charges for second-degree recklessly endangering safety, obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct, and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon were forwarded to the district attorney’s office against a 48-year-old Port Washington male subject after a neighbor reported he had been out in his West Grand Avenue backyard firing a pistol.

2Police received a report of damage to a vehicle at 6:08 a.m. Jan. 30 in the 500 block of South Tower Drive after a large tree branch fell on the vehicle.

3At 2:50 a.m. Feb. 1, a 42-year-old Port Washington man was cited for trespassing after a homeowner in the 600 block of North Holden Street reported an unknown subject passed out in their home.


4A 22-year-old Saukville man arrested for disorderly conduct-domestic violence related and taken to Ozaukee County Jail at 10:11 p.m. Jan. 25 after an incident in the 300 block of North Mill Street. A 43-year-old woman called police, saying she wanted the man removed from her residence. She told police he had repeatedly called her profane names and that he had taken her medication to the car and planned on selling it. The woman had a visible scratch on her arm.

5Police are looking are seeking two suspects who stole a display stand that contained 30 Bic lighters valued at $505.75 at 7 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Tri-Par Gas Station, 305 W. Dekora St. Two male suspects entered the gas station, and one suspect took candy bars and soda from the sales floor and brought it to the cashier. The other suspect began asking questions about chewing tobacco. They then decide not to purchase and leave the store. A short time later, one suspect re-entered the store and asked for a pack of cigarettes and some chewing tobacco. The suspect continued to ask more questions about the tobacco and then abruptly took the entire stand of Bic disposal lighters from the sales counter and carried it out the main entrance. The investigation is ongoing and the two suspects have been identified of doing the same thing in other jurisdictions.
