1A 15-year-old Cedarburg boy was cited for disorderly conduct after using profane language in addressing a teacher and then swearing at some students at Cedarburg High School, 600 Evergreen Blvd., at 8:25 a.m. Jan. 27.
2A 16-year-old Cedarburg girl was cited for disorderly conduct after she was found in a hallway and when asked to leave that hallway refused, using profane language at Cedarburg High School, 600 Evergreen Blvd., at 8:44 a.m. Jan. 27.
3A 45-year-old Cedarburg man was cited for vandalism after he kicked and hit the back door of a bank, causing damage to the dead bolt and cracking the frame in the 500 block of Washington Avenue at 6 p.m. Feb. 1. The man had become angry because he had a problem using an ATM and when he attempted to enter the bank and found it was closed, kicked and damaged the door.
A resident reported an attempted scam after placing exercise equipment for sale on Craigslist and receiving a check made out for twice the sale price and asked to cash it and send the overpayment to the “buyer” Jan. 25. She knew it was a scam and no money was lost.
4A 25-year-old town of Grafton man was cited for shoplifting after taking nine Playstation 4 video games valued at $180 at Meijer, 1600 Port Washington Road, at 8:25 p.m. Jan. 24. He entered the store, picked up grocery items and then went to the electronics department, where he concealed the games. As he attempted to leave without paying, he was confronted by Loss Prevention and he dumped the games and fled the store, driving off in a car driven by a woman. That car was found in the Target lot and he was found hiding in a women’s bathroom. The man, described as uncooperative, denied the theft.
5The theft of an iPad and iPhone valued at $850 was discovered while taking an inventory at Wireless Logic, 1217 N. Port Washington Road, on Jan. 30. Surveillance video revealed two females hiding the items in their coats while a male attempted to block the camera’s view at 6:28 p.m. Jan. 26.
6A 30-year-old Grafton man was cited for OWI and driving with a suspended license after he was seen weaving in traffic, driving 35 mph in a 25 mph zone and then failing to signal when turning in the 1200 block of 12th Avenue at 2:45 a.m. Jan. 29. He admitted drinking but denied being drunk because he took a breathalyzer test as he left the bar and it showed he wasn’t drunk. His BAC was 0.11.
7A 24-year-old Milwaukee man cited for shoplifting ear buds valued at $36 at Shopko, 1771 Wisconsin Ave., at 5:15 p.m. Jan. 29. The man and a woman paid for some items and when stopped, the man denied the theft telling police they could search him if they wanted to. They searched him and found the ear buds hidden in his sock.
