1More than 50 cell phones valued at $700 to $850 each were taken during a burglary by three males at US Cellular, 11521 N. Port Washington Road, about 12:22 a.m. Jan. 21. An alarm sounded at that time and when police arrived, they found forced entry was made to a back door. Police reported similar burglaries in southeastern Wisconsin.
2A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was cited Jan. 16 for theft from his employer, Domino’s Pizza, 6013 W. Mequon Road, on Jan 4. The man had been sent to the bank Jan. 4 to make a deposit and reportedly kept $500 for himself.
3A 27-year-old Sheboygan woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after the car she was in was stopped for defective brake lights at North Port Washington and West Mequon roads at 2:22 p.m. Jan. 23. K-9 Iron hit inside the car, where 13 syringes, some used, a cooker and blood stained tissues were found.
4A 27-year-old Germantown man was cited for his second OWI-drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and his passenger, a 26-year-old Milwaukee woman, for a felon in possession of a firearm/carrying a concealed weapon while intoxicated when the man’s car was stopped for defective brake lights in the 10300 block of Baehr Road at 11:22 p.m. Jan. 22. The couple were also cited for theft that happened just minutes before when a man called police reporting the couple had taken his wallet and about $35 and drove away when he got out of the car at Kwik Trip, 10360 N. Cedarburg Road. The driver was then taken for a blood draw.
5A window was reported broken on a 2015 Lexus SUV parked at Elite Fitness, 11616 N. Port Washington Road, between 8:25 and 10:35 a.m. Jan. 21. Nothing was reported taken.
6A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for carrying a concealed weapon, use of a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct at SIP, 10250 N. Cedarburg Road, at 12:07 a.m. Jan. 22. The man, attempting to enter the building to attend a private party, seemed to be hiding something and when confronted by a security guard, he was found with a loaded Smith & Wesson 9 mm handgun with an extended magazine holding 20 rounds. He struggled with the guard and was then taken into custody.
