1At 6:35 p.m. Jan. 8, a 39-year-old Port Washington woman was verbally warned for a loose dog after hers had gotten out, ran across the parking lot of Sentry, and into the store.  She said she couldn’t look for the dog as she was home with her 1-year-old child at the time.  It was returned to her.

2A vehicle operated by a 32-year-old Port Washington woman at 7:23 a.m. Jan. 10 slid on an icy road, bailing to the right to avoid another stopped vehicle at the stop sign at West Whitefish and Wisconsin, and struck a tree. There was no damage to the tree and minor damage to the car.

3At 1:53 p.m. Jan. 11, police spoke to a 48-year-old Port Washington man after a neighbor reported that the sump pump hose from his residence in the 1000 block of North Webster Street was running onto their sidewalk and freezing, causing an unsafe walkway for others.  The neighbor did not want to be held responsible if anyone fell.

4Two 17-year-old Port Washington boys were spoken to and warned after police received a complaint at 11:51 a.m. Jan. 13 from McDonald’s staff that they were spinning the tires of their vehicle in the restaurant parking lot and one of the subjects came in and yelled profanities when they refused to serve him.

5At 8:18 p.m. Jan. 13, a 16-year-old Port Washington boy was cited for underage alcohol consumption/possession after a parent at a Port Washington High School basketball game reported to school staff that he had been drinking at the game.

6A 38-year-old Port Washington was cited for sixth-offense OWI and operating while revoked at 5:17 a.m. Jan. 14 after he was found passed out behind the wheel in the middle of the intersection of Lincoln and Summit.

SAUKVILLE

7At 11:59 a.m. Jan. 9, charges of bail jumping were filed with the district attorney’s office against a 20-year-old Saukville man. He had been in a fight with a 22-year-old Saukville man in the 100 block of East Dekora Street.

8A 25-year-old Port Washington man was arrested and taken to Ozaukee County Jail for four warrants and was charged with driving with a revoked license and no insurance after a traffic stop at 11:10 p.m. Jan. 11 on East Green Bay Avenue at North Riverside Drive.
