Theft

1A man is a suspect in the theft of two cartons of Newport 100s valued at more than $150 at Kwik Trip, 10360 N. Cedarburg Road, at 2:41 a.m. Jan. 6. The man asked for the cartons and when they were put on the counter, he grabbed them and fled.

2A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia – a trace amount of marijuana shake – and theft from her employer, McDonald’s, 11250 N. Port Washington Road, at 7 p.m. Jan. 12. The woman had activated about $185 of gift cards Jan. 2 and then cashed them.

3A 45-year-old Oshkosh man was cited for his second possession of prescription medicine without a prescription and bail jumping in the 11200 block of North Port Washington Road at 1:05 a.m. Jan. 11. The man was standing outside and flagged down a squad car asking if he could sit inside because it was so cold. He was told he could but first he and his car had to be searched. Police found three pill bottles in his backpack, each with prescription medication, one being Adderall, made out to other people. He then said he’d been at a “sex party” and admitted taking drugs. The man was out on bail and taken into custody for a parole violation.

OWI

4A 30-year-old Fredonia man was cited for his third OWI-drugs, and a probation violation after a witness called saying the man had left a store and was possibly impaired in the 11200 block of North Port Washington Road at 8:09 p.m. Jan. 1. The man had fresh track marks on his arms and was taken for a blood draw.

Other

5A 49-year-old Mequon woman was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment after she refused to move her car that was blocking a lane leading to another resident’s home in the 8600 block of West Highland Road at 2:14 p.m. Jan. 8. Police were called by that neighbor and asked the woman a number of times to move her car but she continued to refuse and was cited. She also reportedly “harassed” a neighbor. The people involved were told that the situation regarding the car is a civil matter.
