1An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of marijuana, having a false registration plate, failure to have insurance and driving with a suspended license after she was stopped for speeding 48 mph in a 35 mph zone at Pioneer Road and Washington Avenue at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 27. When asked for her driver’s license, the woman handed over an ID saying she didn’t have a license. Less than a gram of marijuana was found scattered inside the car.
2A 35-year-old Port Washington woman was cited for shoplifting after putting a number of Urban Decay brand products valued at $258 into her purse and fleeing Ulta Beauty, 968 Port Washington Road, at 11:50 a.m. Dec. 20. The woman, who was traced through her license plate number and contacted, came to the police department and admitted taking some of the items but not all.
3A 29-year-old Waukesha man was cited for shoplifting after stuffing 28 DVDs valued at more than $500 down his pants and fleeing Meijer’s, 1600 Port Washington Road, about noon Dec. 22. The man fled in a car driven by another man. Police stopped that car and the man admitted taking some DVDs but not 28. The driver, a 30-year-old Eagle man, was taken into custody on a warrant.
4A male, described as a “known suspect,” was seen taking two Packers jerseys and two Bucks jerseys valued at more than $350 and fleeing Dick’s Sporting Goods, 1020 Port Washington Road, about 8:25 p.m. Dec. 26. He drove off in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
