1A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for hit-and-run after hitting a car at Bridge and Wauwatosa roads at 3:38 p.m. Dec. 12. The car was traced by its plate number and the owner, a 22-year-old Milwaukee woman, was contacted and cited for obstruction after she gave false information regarding who was driving her car. The man was stopped by Mequon police for a hit-and-run in their city.

2Two 18-year-old women of Wauwatosa and Cedarburg were cited for possession of marijuana and, along with a 19-year-old Cedar Grove man, for possession of drug paraphernalia after the driver lost control and hit a curb at Washington Avenue and Pioneer Road at 9:07 p.m. Dec. 16. The car smelled of marijuana and two glass pipes, a grinder and scale were found along with two baggies holding 0.7 grams of marijuana that the women said belonged to them.

3A 34-year-old Jackson man was cited for OWI after he lost control of his car and crashed into a power pole, cutting it in half in the 1100 block of Washington Avenue at 2:12 a.m. Dec. 17. He exited the car and walked away but was stopped and admitted driving the car. He was found at the PDQ. He failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.18.


4A 22-year-old Grafton man was cited for OWI and warned for failure to stop at a stop sign after he was seen driving erratically at 11th Avenue and Beech Street at 2:04 a.m. Dec. 15. When asked, the man denied drinking but later admitted having four beers saying at first he was “too scared to tell the truth.” He failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.17.

5A 37-year-old Cedarburg woman was cited for shoplifting after taking a bottle of Miralax valued at $20.99 at Shopko, 1771 Wisconsin Ave., at 1:50 p.m. Dec. 15. Police were called a short time later and viewed video showing the woman, who was with a child, putting the bottle in her purse, paying for some items and then leaving. She had left a prescription at the store and was located at her home, where she denied the theft saying she put the product back on the shelf.

A 31-year-old Grafton man was cited for battery and disorderly conduct both domestic violence related after he choked a woman, a relative, and pushed her causing her to hit a cabinet and falling to the floor at 6:14 p.m. Dec. 18. The woman signed a 72-hour no contact order.

6A 56-year-old Grafton man was cited for OWI, expired registration and driving with a suspended license after he was seen weaving in traffic and driving 5 miles below the speed limit in the 1600 block of Washington Street and stopped in the 1200 block of 13th Avenue at 12:41 a.m. Dec. 21. When asked if he’d been drinking, the man said, “Not much.” He failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.15.
