Burglary

1More than $100,000 of jewelry was taken from a locked safe in a locked closet in the 2800 block of West Golf Circle between 10:40 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 12. Pry marks were found on a rear patio door.

Theft

2A 35-year-old West Bend man was cited for theft of a $185 trail camera in the 11600 block of West Donges Bay Road on Nov. 14. Before the theft, the trail camera filmed the suspect at the scene and when the owner saw those photos, he set up another camera aimed at the trail one. That camera caught the theft Nov. 12.  The man admitted the theft.

3An engraved necklace and change were taken from an unlocked car in the 11000 block of North Highview Drive on Nov. 15 or 16.

4Two unlocked cars parked in a driveway were entered and about $15 taken from one in the 11300 block North Lake Shore Drive on Nov. 16 or 17.

Drug possession

5A 31-year-old Grafton man was cited for possession of 2.4 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and illegally obtained prescription medication, failure to wear a seat belt and his sixth citation for driving with a suspended license in the 11100 block of I-43 at 1:11 p.m. Nov. 12. K-9 Iron hit inside the car, where the drugs and paraphernalia were found, including a pipe, syringes with blood, a spoon with burnt residue and Alprazolam pills.

6A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for possession of 0.5 grams of marijuana after he was stopped for no front plate in the 11100 block of North Port Washington Road at 5:27 p.m. Nov. 12. The marijuana was scattered inside the car.

7A 25-year-old Cedarburg woman was cited for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after she was seen weaving in traffic in the 1400 block of West Pioneer Road at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12. Police found 3.1 grams of heroin, 10 milliliters of cooker heroin, nine used syringes and a cooker inside the woman’s large pink purse.

8A 26-year-old Grafton woman was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, failure to install an ignition interlock device, driving with a revoked license and speeding 61 mph in a 45 mph zone in the 13000 block of North Wasaukee Road at 5:45 a.m. Nov. 15. The woman had a gram of marijuana and a pipe with residue.

9A 22-year-old West Allis woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license in the 11200 block of I-43 at 10 p.m. Nov. 17. When a straw with drug residue was found in the car, the woman told police it was her mother’s.

OWI

10A 50-year-old Mequon man was cited for OWI and open intoxicants, an open bottle of vodka, after a report that he sideswiped a truck in the 11200 block of North Port Washington Road at 5 p.m. Nov. 10. The man said he didn’t remember hitting the truck and also denied drinking. The man failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.31.

11A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for OWI, non-registration and defective brake light after she was seen weaving in traffic in the 9900 block of North Cedarburg Road, at 12:25 a.m. Nov. 17. The woman said she had a “couple of beers.” She failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.12.

Other

12A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for disorderly conduct after she threatened and grabbed the neck of a co-worker at Culvers, 11150 N. Port Washington Road, at 11 a.m. Nov. 10.

THIENSVILLE

A 19-year-old Thiensville woman was cited for theft and identity theft after taking four checks from a resident and then cashing those checks totaling $217 at a Brown Deer bank the first week of November and cited Nov. 8. The suspect is known to the family.
