1Bricks were used to break car windows in the 700 block of Madison Avenue, the 5900 block of Hamilton Road and the 600 block of Evergreen Boulevard Oct. 27 or 28. One resident reported he heard a sound at 11:11 p.m. Oct. 27 and found a car window smashed. Damages ranged from $300 to $800 and no items were reported taken.
A resident reported being the victim of a scam after receiving a message that her computer had a virus but it could be fixed for $200 on Oct. 28. She gave her credit card number and that money was charged. The card has been cancelled.
A resident reported $1,353 had been fraudulently charged on her credit card to purchase items on PayPal on Nov. 1.
2A K-9 Officer was called to check lockers and the parking lot at Cedarburg High School, 600 Evergreen Blvd., the morning of Nov. 2. The K-9 Officer did not hit on any lockers or cars – no drugs were reported.
3A window of a car parked in an open garage was broken in the 300 block of Hillcrest Avenue overnight Nov. 2 or 3. Damage was $400.
4A powdered foam insecticide, found in an open garage, was poured on the windshield and hood of a car parked in that garage in the 200 block of West Acorn Drive on Oct. 28 or 29. There was minor damage to the car’s hood.
5A 32-year-old Grafton man was cited for disorderly conduct, false imprisonment, failure to stop for police and illegal U-turn at Cheyenne Avenue and Highway 60 at 12:24 a.m. Oct. 30. The man and his ex-wife were having dinner when they began to argue and he pushed her and then took her car keys so she couldn’t leave. After he left, police were called.
6A 30-year-old Cedarburg man was cited for shoplifting after taking a knit cap and T-shirt valued at $10 and fleeing Shopko, 301 Falls Road, at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 31. The man said he needed the items but didn’t have any money.
