Burglary

1More than a dozen construction tools valued at more than $3,000 were taken from a trailer parked at a house under construction in the 12800 block of North Highgate Court overnight Oct. 13 or 14. The owner is still identifying the stolen items.

Theft

2A 2003 Dodge Stratus was taken from Jorgensen Conveyor, 10303 N. Baehr Road, about 8:45 a.m. Oct. 14. The theft, caught on surveillance video, shows a male getting out of a Dodge pick-up truck pulled up next to the Stratus and he gets into it and then both vehicles drive away. The car was recovered in Milwaukee that evening.

3Jewelry valued at about $30,000, including an antique broach and diamond rings, was taken from the 10900 block of North Lake View Road sometime in the last 12 months and reported Oct. 16.

Drug possession

4A 39-year-old Niagara, Wisconsin, man was cited for possession of heroin, felony bail jumping, failure to have insurance and was warned for driving with a cracked windshield in the 12800 block of I-43 at 12:48 p.m. Oct. 15. K-9 Iron was on the scene and hit inside the car, where police found two baggies, one with 1.1 grams of a mixture of cocaine and heroin and the other with 0.5 grams of heroin. The man had a legal prescription for methadone and said he goes to a methadone clinic.

5A 33-year-old West Allis man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, expired registration and a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 14300 block of I-43 at 1:14 p.m. Oct. 15. K-9 Iron hit inside the car, where 2.9 grams of marijuana was found, along with a glass pipe and grinder, both with residue. The man had his two sons in the car and a relative picked up the boys before police took the man into custody.

6A 25-year-old Cedarburg man and a 28-year-old Sheboygan woman were cited for possession of 0.8 grams of marijuana after their car was stopped in the 11200 block of I-43 at 8:35 p.m. Oct. 17.

7An 18-year-old Menomonee Falls man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at Mequon Nature Preserve, 10000 N. Swan Road, at 8:42 p.m. Oct. 20. K-9 Iron was at the scene and hit inside the car, where the paraphernalia was found.

Other

8Two men and two women, Concordia University students, all 19, of  Omro, Juneau, Lockport, Illinois, and Stillwater, Minnesota, were cited for underage drinking after their car was seen making a number of U-turns and then pulling into a driveway in the 10800 block of West Bonniwell Road at 11:25 p.m. Oct. 15. The driver said he was lost. The students’ BACs ranged from 0.01 to 0.074.
