1Graffiti causing $200 damage was found on three exterior doors at the Centennial Park Pavilion, 1370 17th Ave., at 8 a.m. Oct. 5. Similar graffiti was found on a garage door and a mailbox in the 1500 and 1600 blocks of 16th Avenue occurring Oct. 4 or 5.

2A 21-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited for shoplifting after hiding $52 of baby clothing in her purse or diaper bag, walking through the self-checkout lane without paying and attempting to exit Meijer’s, 1600 Port Washington Road, at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 6. The woman was taken to the police department and when released, a 21-year-old Brown Deer man came to pick her up, driving her car. However, the man did not have a valid license and was cited for driving while suspended. After the couple drove away, the man’s citation was found torn up in the parking lot outside the station.

3A 25-year-old Grafton man was cited for possession of marijuana, resisting/obstruction and disorderly conduct in the 100 block of West Falls Road, at 3:19 a.m. Oct. 9. Grafton police went to the man’s home after Port Washington police asked for assistance in locating the man who was a suspect in the slashing of tires on four cars in their city. Police found the man at his residence with a badly cut finger and a bloody knife in his pocket. He also had a marijuana cigarette in another pocket and he then struggled with officers. The man was also cited for criminal damage to property by Port Washington police.
