1At 11:18 a.m. Sept. 4, a resident in the 300 block of West Norport Drive reported firecrackers had been set off in his mailbox the prior event. He didn’t realize it until the following morning. There was no damage, and there are no suspects.

2A resident reported damage to a vehicle after brake fluid was presumed to be sprayed all over it at 2:39 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 100 block of East Van Buren Street.

3A 31-year-old Port Washington man was cited for first offense OWI and taken into custody on state charges for disorderly conduct, resisting an officer and carrying a concealed weapon after officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident in the 500 block of North Wisconsin Street.

4A 61-year-old Port Washington woman reported damage to one of the benches located south of the stairway leading to the beach at 9:52 a.m. Sept. 5 in Upper Lake Park, 510 Upper Lake Park Road.

5At 4:58 p.m. Sept. 6, a resident reported a portion of a tree limb that had fallen on a vehicle in the 200 block of High Street, possibly due to the storm in the area at the time.  Contact was made with the owner and officers assisted in removing the tree.  There was minimal damage to the vehicle.

6A 69-year-old Saukville man was cited for disorderly conduct at 5:09 p.m. Sept. 7 after police received a call about an intoxicated man who was wandering around the homes in the 1900 block of Blue Spruce Court and had urinated in the back yard of one residence.

At 11:59 p.m. Sept. 8, state charges for battery and disorderly conduct were sent to the district attorney’s office for 50-year-old Port Washington woman who was in a physical altercation with her live-in boyfriend. She struck him with a picture, causing injuries and also broke items around the house.

7Charges of operating after revocation-OWI related are being forwarded to the district attorney’s office for a 50-year-old Sheboygan man who was arrested and taken to the Ozaukee County Jail at 5 a.m. Sept. 1. He was also issued a municipal citation for operating without insurance after he was pulled over driving west on Klein Lane at North Progress Drive.

8At 9:07 p.m. Sept. 4, a 34-year-old Saukville man issued municipal citations for OWI and unsafe lane deviation on Highway 33. A citizen reported a vehicle was deviating lanes, nearly striking the curbs, driving at very erratic speeds and nearly sideswiped several vehicles. Police were able to get behind the suspect vehicle and noted the same. Police immediately noted a strong odor of intoxicants coming from his breath, very slow and slurred speech and a difficult time answering questions. The man said he was coming from a bar in the city of Port Washington and said he had two or three bottles of imported beer.  His BAC was 0.23.

9At 12:30 p.m. Sept. 5, police were dispatched to the Mid-City Citgo Gas Station for a report of a theft of cigarettes.  Police spoke with the clerk, who advised that a man came in and asked for a carton of Newport 100’s. She said she put the carton on the counter and then the man asked for two packs of Marlboro’s. When she turned her back to look for them, he ran out of the store with the Newport 100’s. He got into a black SUV and got on I-43 heading south. The Glendale Police Department located the vehicle and pursued it as it was traveling the wrong way down Capitol Drive, but were unable to get it. Police also found that Milwaukee Police Department had just entered the license plates of the SUV stolen approximately 30 minutes before the theft.
