Burglary

1A John Deere utility vehicle valued at $12,500 and other items valued at $1,000, including chain saws, a circular saw and a drill, were taken from an unlocked out building at Mequon Nature Preserve, 8519 W. Donges Bay Road, sometime from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.

Theft

2About $5 was taken from an unlocked car parked in a driveway in the 8800 block of West Daventry Road on Sept. 1 or 2.

Drug possession

3K-9 Officer Iron was called to investigate the odor of marijuana in a car parked at Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road, at 9:22 p.m. Sept. 2. Marijuana residue was found in that car and the driver, a 19-year-old Milwaukee man, admitted smoking the drug earlier.

4A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI-drugs, possession of a controlled substance with a prior conviction, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to have insurance, illegal U-turn and impeding traffic by driving 30 mph in a 45 mph zone in the 10800 block of West Mequon Road at 10:57 p.m. Sept. 2. K-9 Iron was called to the scene and hit inside the car, where Schedule I and II narcotics were found along with used needles, tin cookers and tourniquets. The man, who was on probation for possession of a controlled substance, had tracks marks on both arms and was taken for a blood draw.

5A 19-year-old Kenosha man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at Concordia University, 12800 N. Lake Shore Drive, at 3:17 p.m. Sept. 3. Paraphernalia with marijuana residue was found in the man’s room.

Drunken driving

6A 25-year-old Jackson woman was cited for her second OWI, expired registration and unsafe lane deviation after an officer saw her weaving in traffic and striking a curb in the 12600 block of North Port Washington Road at 2:16 a.m. Sept. 5. When asked if she’d been drinking she said she had “one drink” then said “one-ish drink” and then “three point five drinks.” Her BAC was 0.19 and she was taken for a blood draw.

Other

7A 30-year-old Mequon woman was cited for battery/domestic violence after police responded to a report of an erratic driver at Cedarburg and Donges Bay roads about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 4. The car was traced to a residence where the woman was found along with a man who had cuts to his face after the woman attacked him.
