Burglary

1A chain saw and weed cutter valued at $1,300 were taken from an unlocked garage in the 5300 block of West Westfield Road sometime Aug. 6 to Aug. 14.

Theft

2A 20-year-old Menomonee Falls man was cited for theft after filling up his car with gas and driving away without paying at Kwik Trip, 10360 N. Cedarburg Road, three times: Aug. 13, 16 and 17. The thefts totaling $41.66 were caught on surveillance video showing the same car with the same license plate.

Drug possession

3A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for OWI-drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, non-registration and driving while suspended in the 6200 block of West County Line Road at 10:08 p.m. Aug. 12. There was a strong odor of burnt marijuana in the car, where blunts and rolling papers were found. The boy, who was shaking and slurring his words, was taken for a blood draw after a drug recognition expert was called to the scene.

4A 20-year-old Oconomowoc man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, defective brake lights and warned for no insurance in the 11400 block of North Cedarburg Road at 2:56 a.m. Aug. 13. A pipe with residue and 10.1 grams of marijuana were found in the car. The man said they belonged to a friend.

5A Pewaukee woman and two Milwaukee men, all 19, were cited, for possession of drug paraphernalia and the woman also for possession of marijuana and cocaine after they were found at Mequon Nature Preserve, 10000 N. Swan Road, at 12:14 a.m. Aug. 17. The woman had 0.1 grams of cocaine and 0.9 grams of marijuana in her purse. Also found in backpacks in the car were pipes and a grinder all with marijuana residue.

6Two 39-year-old Niagara men were cited for possession of heroin, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia after they were stopped for expired registration in the 11200 block of I-43 at 11:25 p.m. Aug. 17. K-9 Iron was called to the scene and hit inside the car, where 2.5 grams of heroin and 1.1 grams of crack cocaine were found along with syringes, spoons and a scale. Both men denied using or having drugs.

OWI

7A 44-year-old Mequon woman was cited for OWI, armed while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and refusal to take a breath test after a relative alerted police in the 1000 block of West El Patio Lane at 1 a.m. Aug. 14. The woman, who said she had three vodka gimlets, had a preliminary BAC of 0.09. Two firearms and ammunition were found in the back seat of her car and a jar with 6.9 grams of marijuana.

Other

8A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited Aug. 11 for ID theft and obstruction after she was stopped for a defective tail light and used a relative’s name in the 11100 block of North Cedarburg Road April 9. The ID theft was discovered when the relative came to the department after receiving a notice that her license was suspended because of failure to pay the ticket. She told police the relative used her identity.
