1An 18-year-old Mequon man was cited for theft of a Panera Bread order alert after he and some friends were warned about park hours at Lemke Park, 10301 W. Donges Bay Road, at 10:29 p.m. July 29. There was an odor of marijuana in the man’s car and K-9 Iron was called to the scene. He “hit” inside the car and although no drugs were found, the man said he has “a friend who smokes weed.” During the search, the order alerter valued at $60 was found. It had been missing from Panera since July 1.
2A 50-year-old Plano, Texas, woman was cited for OWI, open intoxicants, driving left of center and impeding traffic after driving into a subdivision at West Elderberry Court and West Burning Bush Lane at 12:34 a.m. July 30. The woman, who said she had two drinks, had a BAC of 0.21.
3A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI-drugs and unsafe lane deviation after he was seen weaving in traffic and going 25 to 30 mph in a 40 mph zone on West Highland Road at North Yvonne Drive at 9:09 p.m. July 30. The man was unable to perform field sobriety tests. They were stopped for safety reasons and Mequon rescue was called to the scene. Later he was taken for a blood draw.
4A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for OWI and prohibitive alcohol content both with the added charge of having a passenger under 16 and driving without a valid license in the 11200 block of North Port Washington Road at 11:52 p.m. Aug. 2. The man failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.21. An 11-year-old boy was in the car.
5A 70-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 56-year-old Saukville woman were cited for disorderly conduct after both who were driving cars refused to pull over and slow down in a construction zone in the 12400 block of North Green Bay Road at 3:45 p.m. July 29. A construction worker, a woman, waved a red flag telling the women to slow down and pull over. Both yelled profanities at the worker one saying “(Expletive) you, you (expletive).” The women drove away but were traced through their plates and cited about three hours later.
6Police responded to a report of a car on fire in the 5200 block of West County Line Road at 8:15 p.m. July 29. A small fire had been started on the hood of a car and two tires were slashed. The fire was extinguished and the amount of damage was not available.
6Thiensville Rescue responded to a 19-year-old Illinois woman passed out in a front yard and found an underage drinking party in the 100 block of Linden Lane at 1:13 a.m. Aug. 6. The woman, taken to a hospital, was later cited for underage drinking. Also cited was an 18-year-old Waukesha woman, with two priors, who had a BAC of 0.20 and six men, 18 to 20, of Bayside, Germantown, Mequon, Thiensville and Whitefish Bay with BACs ranging from 0.02 to 0.12. The Mequon man, with a previous UAD citation, was taken into custody on a probation hold.
