The Ozaukee Chorus is inviting anyone interested in singing with the group to join its spring semester by attending the first practice of the season at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St., Grafton.

No auditions are held for anyone who would like to sing in the four-part mixed chorus. Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

The chorus meets weekly on Tuesdays with practices taking place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Occasional early practices start at 6:30 p.m. throughout the spring season. A spring concert will be held in early May. Membership dues are $35 per semester to cover the cost of folders and music.

The Ozaukee Chorus is a non-profit organization that has been together since 1975. Since 2008, the Ozaukee Chorus has awarded more than $43,000 in Scholarships. The group’s net proceeds from the choral engagements are presented as scholarships every spring to one student at each high school in Ozaukee County who are further pursuing musical education.
