Concordia University Wisconsin, 12800 N. Lake Shore Drive, Mequon, has announced three theater events and some special events for the rest of the school year.

The theater department will present “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” “A Raisin in the Sun,” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” For more information, contact Lori Woodall at lori.woodall@cuw.edu or call 262-243-2035.

“Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 2-4, and at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5 in the Todd Wehr Auditorium. Tickets for the performances are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and non-CUW students, $5 for veterans, faculty/staff, and CUW alumni, $3 for CUW students and children ages 5-12, and free for children younger than 5.

“A Raisin in the Sun” will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27-29, and 1:30 p.m. d Sunday, April 30, in the Todd Wehr Auditorium. Tickets for the performances are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and non-CUW students, $5 for veterans, faculty/staff, and CUW alumni, $3 for CUW students, and free for children younger than 12.

The production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be shown at 6 p.m. July 14-15 and 21-22, and at 4 p.m. July 16 and 23 on the Bluff. Tickets for the performances are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and non-CUW students, $5 for veterans, faculty/staff, and CUW alumni, $3 for CUW students, and free for children younger than 12.

There are also special events planned, including two graduate education webinars and a servant leader roundtable.

The webinars will be held Jan. 11 (graduate education programs – learn more about Concordia’s graduate programs and have questions answered) and Jan. 25 (educational administrator webinar – what do school boards look for in an administrator?). The servant leader roundtable will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. the second Thursday of each month in the Lake Shore Room.
