A West Bend man was killed in Saukville on Sunday, Nov. 13, in a collision with another vehicle while riding his motorcyle, according to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office reported Monday, Nov. 14, that the collision occurred at approximately 11a.m. at Highway 33 South and County Highway I in the town of Saukville.
The victim, 66-year-old John Tepper, was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound on Highway 33 South when he was struck by a gray Volkswagen that was heading south.
The driver of the Volkswagen, 30-year-old Aleksandr Boreesenko of Fredonia, failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign, resulting in the collision.
Boreesenko has been issued a citation for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign, but no further charges have been pressed. The incident remains under investigation by the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department.
