Grafton – There will be something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s “Fall Into Grafton” event.

The free event will feature a variety of fall-themed fun, including family games, crafts, music and entertainment.

New this year, the Oktoberfest Beer Garden will feature food, beer and live music from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at Atlas BBQ, 1304 12th Ave.

“There will be traditional German foods, beer from the Fermentorium, German music and tons of fun,” said Pam King, executive director of the Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Another highlight will be the Grafton Lion’s Club Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, at Atlas, and the Pumpkin Fest Fall Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Paramount Plaza.

While kids games have always been part of the festival, this year King said event organizers partnered with All My Friends Playground and students from Grafton High School and John Long Middle School to offer expanded offerings.

“(This year’s festival) includes a bouncy house, professional face painter and even more games and fun prizes,” said King, who added that for $5 children can enter the “Kid’s Zone.” “In addition to winning prizes, each child will receive a goody bag and Bikers Against Child Abuse will be there doing fingerprint IDs for kids free of charge.”
