The Frank L. Weyenberg Library, 11345 North Cedarburg Road, Mequon, will offer two classes in conjunction with The Retirement Classroom.

The first is Planning for Nursing Care and Final Expenses at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19. Nursing Care and Final Expense Planning is a class designed to inform retirees of the chances they will need nursing care, ways to receive care and the costs involved. It will also talk about the options to fund one’s final expenses, a decision that may be affected by how a retiree plans on receiving and funding nursing care.

The second class is Getting to Know Medicare at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19. Getting to Know Medicare is a class is designed to acquaint current and future Medicare beneficiaries with the four parts of Medicare as well as equip them to navigate through the various insurance options.

The library will also host its monthly Mequon-Thiensville Community Book Club meeting at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 20. September’s book discussion will be on "The Marriage of Opposites" by Alice Hoffman. The book club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m.

No registration is required for this program and all are welcome to attend.
