If anyone wants to learn how to make truffles or other Valentine's Day treats, find about the two chocolate fests in the greater Milwaukee area or learn to pair chocolate with wine, we have you covered.
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, there are many options to enjoy the occasion with your Valentine or best friends. Or pamper yourself by making a homemade treat just for you.
Some of these events or classes require an RSVP and can sell out quickly. It is also important to check the event website or Facebook page to see if anything changes before the event.

Love Potion No. 9 … Valentine’s Cocktails and Chocolate in both Brookfield and Walker's Point
At Love Potion No. 9 ... Valentine's Cocktails and Chocolate ― held at both the Brookfield and Walker's Point locations of Indulgence Chocolatiers ― participants are slated to experience four different pairings. Each will feature a Valentine-themed cocktail with a corresponding indulgence confection. The cost is $40 a person.

Galentine’s Wine & Chocolate Tasting event in Brookfield
At this Galentine's Wine & Chocolate Tasting event, there will be an evening filled with indulgence and treats. There will be different wine and chocolate pairings. The cost is $35 until Feb. 9 and $50 after Feb. 9.
When: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12

Be Mine Macarons-making class in Glendale
Participants will learn the art of making two kinds of macarons in this class. Attendees will make chocolate-dipped strawberry macarons and smoked sea salt caramel ones. The cost is $89.
When: 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb 10 (class is 2 to 2 1/2 hours)

Beautiful Bouquet Of Cupcakes in Glendale
In this Beautiful Bouquet of Cupcakes class at Bayshore, participants will create a bouquet of edible roses and flowers. Attendees will create chocolate cupcakes as a base for the floral buttercream decorations. Participants will leave this class with an arrangement of flower cupcakes. The cost is $89.
When: There are two classes. One is 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, and the other is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14.

Chocolate Walk in Menomonee Falls
At Chocolate Walk, participants can buy an empty, "giftable" box for $20. During the event on Feb. 9 and 10, Those who buy a box can walk to participating businesses that will provide the chocolate to fill the box. Participants can eat the chocolate themselves or give the box chocolate-filled box to someone else.
When: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, and Saturday, Feb. 10
Where: Downtown Menomonee Falls. Boxes can be picked up at Chocolate Falls at its new location, N88 W16733 Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls.

Valentine's Chocolate Truffles in Menomonee Falls
In this Valentine's Chocolate Truffles class at Batter & Mac, participants will make truffles that are dark chocolate and rich cream laced with raspberry or Kahlua. Participants will make three decorative five-piece boxes of truffles of both flavors. A light snack will be provided, and beer and wine will be available for purchase. The cost of the class is $65.

Cakesicles and Strawberries in Menomonee Falls
Cakesicles and Strawberries at Batter & Mac will be a hands-on class to create a cakesicle — a cake pop that looks like a popsicle. Participants will learn how to design their cakesicles and decorate them for Valentine's Day. Each participant will take home four cakesicles, two chocolate-covered strawberries and a recipe card. The cost is $65.

Chocolate Around the Bend in West Bend
At Chocolate Around the Bend, there will be a pop-up market and participants can begin shopping and exploring chocolate and other items at participating locations in downtown West Bend. The locations are listed on the back of a punch card and on the Downtown West Bend Association's website at www.downtownwestbend.com
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (punch card pick up 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) Saturday, Feb. 10, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (punch card pick up 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) Sunday, Feb. 11.
Where: Downtown West Bend at participating locations. Punch card pick-up is at the Bend Theater, 125 N. Main St.
